Hustle took keen hold, chased leader, ridden to lead over 1f out, always holding runner-up
Maslaha covered up in 4th, effort 2f out, kept on to take 2nd inside final furlong, always held
Atheer Dubai soon led, headed and hard ridden over 1f out, no extra final furlong
Keep Discovering took keen hold, chased leaders, effort and hung left entering straight, slightly outpaced, kept on again near finish
Artsu held up in rear, ridden over 2f out, stayed on final furlong
My Mate Pete held up in 5th, ridden over 2f out, no impression over 1f out
Maslaha was just outmanouevred, stuck on the rail into the home bend before having to angle out and running green on what was only her third career start, coming after an easy win. She gave strong chase through the final furlong and has been far from disgraced. She can make amends in a strongly-run race and still looks progressive.
Keep Discovering was all at sea on this track on his seasonal return. He hung badly off the home turn to lose his pitch before finding top stride late. He can improve considerably on the bare form.
Artsu, also making his seasonal return, was held up going an extra furlong here. The way he closed through the final furlong suggests stamina is not an issue and he can show improved form with this run under his belt.
