Analyis of the race
PERANGE is a well-handicapped horse nowadays, despite his advancing years, and he stepped up on his recent return to action at Fontwell.
Appreciating the step up to 3m, the winner stayed on strongly after the second-last to put it down to Bermuda Pointe and assert on the run-in. His trainer has had a good spell recently and feels that he now has a well-handicapped horse on his hands.
The admirable Treasulier also rallied well having adopted his usual front-running role. He was clearly at the top of his game after a break, but the handicapper is making life tough for him now.
