Tambourine Ridge held up, steady headway 6th, led and went right 2 out, went right and hit last, ran on well
Aya led, ridden and headed 2 out, held when hit last
She´s Little Don always prominent, ridden approaching 2 out, soon beaten
Cove Mountain held up, short-lived effort 3 out
Lady Malousa prominent until weakened 7th, behind when pulled up before last
Pretty Neat with leader, hit 5th, weakened 3 out, tailed off when pulled up before 2 out, lame
A half-sister to a winning chaser, obviously fences will be her longer term objective, but there could be another race in her in this division which is never really that strong.
Aya had won a bumper and did not do too badly on her hurdles debut. She won on fast ground and that may be the secret to her.
Cove Mountain was nothing out of the very ordinary on the Flat. This run qualified her for a mark over hurdles, but unless faster ground later this spring brings about plenty of improvement she is going to struggle.
Pretty Neat, making her hurdles debut and having her first run since last September, dropped away very tamely before being disappointingly pulled up. Her previous outing was on firmish ground and perhaps that sort of surface may help her.
