Double Dizzy held up, joined leaders after 3rd, led 5th to 6th, led 7th, clear from 4 out, unchallenged
La Dame Brune held up, jumped left 7th, headway 10th, went 2nd 13th, jumped badly left 4 out, soon no chance with winner
Cardenas prominent, pushed along approaching 11th, weakened 12th, went moderate 2nd briefly 2 out
Elbow Lane led to 4th, led 6th to 7th, weakened approaching 11th
Colline De Fleurs prominent, led 4th to 5th, mistake 12th, soon weakened, tailed off when pulled up before 2 out
Fountain Hill held up, mistake 11th, soon behind, jumped left and blundered badly 4 out, tailed off when pulled up before 3 out
He had a lot more use made of him on this occasion, as he has been ridden more patiently in recent races. On this evidence all he does is stay, and on a line through his hurdles mark he is not that badly handicapped at present with his stable back amongst the winners.
Cardenas may well be another who wants better ground than he encountered here, but his stable is struggling at the moment.
Elbow Lane is on the mark of a seller and that looks to be his grade.
