Mainly exposed sorts, several of them a light of former years, in this conditions seller. FRIENDS HOPE with a mark of 75 was best in on official ratings, and after travelling well, she needed some firm driving to draw clear on the final furlong. She’s pretty exposed, but having been retained without a bid, may well be able to score again in similar grade.

Top Jaro was a touch keen, but raced in touch and basically had every chance. Pianoforte came with his chance over a furlong out, but spoilt his effort by hanging left in the final furlong. However, he had a bit to find with several of these on official ratings, so wasn’t disgraced.
