No To Trident tracked leaders on inner, pushed along and outpaced well ovcer 2f out, ridden to chase leaders and hung left over 1f out, not much room and switched right just inside final furlong, stayed on to lead last 75yds
Fiulin held up in touch, steady headway on outer 4f out, ridden 2f out, stayed on to chase leader inside final furlong, driven and held when not much room near finish
Internationaldebut close up, led after 2f, quickened clear over 2f out, ridden over 1f out, weakened quickly well inside final furlong, wandered and headed last 75yds
Azabu Juban held up towards rear, headway well over 2f out, ridden well over 1f out, stayed on inside final furlong, nearest finish
Tharawaat tracked leaders, smooth headway over 3f out, ridden to chase leader 2f out, driven entering final furlong and one pace

Sabre Light midfield when hampered after 1f, held up, headway and in touch 3f out, ridden over 2f out and kept on same pace

NO TO TRIDENT had shown only fair form previously, but he is stoutly bred on the dam’s side and clearly improved for this step up in trip, outpaced over two furlongs out and hanging left, but staying on to lead well inside the final furlong. He may well improve again for another step up in trip, but may need to.
Fiulin had shaped well on his debut last backend and confirmed that he has the ability to win a small race as he kept on for second. He is a shade better thanthe bare form as he was hampered well inside the final furlong.
Tharawaat has still fully to confirm the promise of his first run, while Mekong Melody ran just a fair race in sixth. (DC)
