Whatcanyasay held up in touch, hit 10th, headway 5 out, chased leader after 3 out and soon ridden, driven last, stayed on well to lead near finish

Moment Of Madness chased leaders, ridden along after 4 out, driven next and kept on same pace
Sands Rising held up in rear, headway 5 out, ridden along approaching 3 out, kept on same pace from next
Categorical held up, effort 4 out, soon ridden along, stayed on approaching last, held in 5th when saddle slipped flat
Tickateal held up, headway to chase leaders halfway, ridden along after 4 out, weakened from next
First Fought chased leader, effort to challenge 4 out, ridden along next and soon weakened
Deja Vu in touch, pushed along when fell 11th
WHATCANYASAY gradually worked his way into it and ran on strongly after the last to get up close home. This was his third win on the track, off his highest ever mark. He's on the upgrade, though, admittedly at a modest level. He does go well on good/fast ground. With just over five lengths covering the first five home, the form is not that strong.
Sands Rising has gained all his wins on soft ground, so this was a fair effort on these faster conditions.
Categorical was staying on and would have been closer had his saddle not slipped after the last.
