Amoreigh led until 2nd, stayed handy, went 2nd again after 13th, left upsides leader next, led 15th, soon clear
Fisherman Jack led 2nd until 4th, chased leader, reminders 10th, 3rd and weakening after 13th, mistake next, soon tailed off, left poor 2nd last
Monsieur Georges behind, ridden along after 7th, lost touch 11th, well tailed off when pulled up 3 out
Victree held up in rear, jumped right 4th, headway 7th, chasing leaders when blundered 10th, saddle slipped and pulled up before next
Carriage Ride soon niggled along, in touch, ridden and blundered 7th, dropped to rear after 10th, tailed off when refused and unseated rider 13th
Hercules Morse in touch, jumped right 7th and lost place next, left 4th after 10th, losing touch when pulled up 13th
Miss Doublet never going or jumping well, behind when pulled up after 6th
Roddy The Vet prominent, led 4th, blundered and joined 14th, headed next, beaten when mistake 3 out, still 2nd but no chance when fell last
AMOREIGH was the one with the stamina to see out the test, but it's hard to know what he has achieved given that his rivals simply fell away one by one.
He's lightly raced for his age and recent form has not been very inspiring, but he travelled and jumped well, a key attribute in the conditions, and he drew clear of Roddy The Vet leaving the back for the final time.
Fisherman Jack lost touch with the front two down the back for the final time and it's hard to see him winning another race at his age.
