Najca De Thaix took keen hold, with leader until led 5th, made rest, clear 2 out, easily
Carly Bay held up in touch in rear, mistake 2nd, headway to chase winner after 7th, mistake 3 out, soon ridden, beaten next
Idiome took keen hold, held up well in touch, slightly hampered 7th, chased leading pair when hit next, ridden after 3 out, well held when blundered 2 out
Polished in touch, mistake and reminders 4th, lost touch 6th, tailing off when pulled up next
Dauphin Des Carres in touch, ridden and weakened 8th, 4th and tailed off when refused 3 out
Papillon De Iena led until 5th, chased winner after until ridden and lost interest after 7th, well tailed off when pulled up 3 out
Salinas tracked leaders until unseated rider 7th
He had slipped some three to four lengths clear down the back without his rider having asked for any real effort and, still travelling powerfully turning for home, he saw it out well.
Carly Bay finished in front of Najca De Thaix over hurdles here last month, but he's not as good over fences, and despite travelling quite nicely, he could never land a blow on the winner.
