Came Back took keen hold, tracked leaders, headway to lead 1f out, ridden clear and soon in command, comfortably
Financial Times took keen hold, held up in rear, headway over 1f out, ran on well to chase winner inside final furlong, unable to challenge
Sand Cat very slowly away, well behind in last, came wide over 1f out, ran on strongly final furlong, not reach leaders
Resplendent Alpha slowly into stride, pushed up into midfield and took keen hold after 1f, ridden 2f out, headway under pressure over 1f out, one pace last 100yds
Cativo Cavallino in touch, headway to chase leaders over 2f out, driven well over 1f out, kept on same pace
Impromptu steadied and dropped in after start, headway just over 2f out, soon ridden and unable to quicken, kept on inside final furlong, never pace to trouble leaders
George The Second chased leader, ridden to lead well over 1f out, headed 1f out, faded final furlong
Angel Voices led, ridden and headed well over 1f out, weakened final furlong
Teen Ager took keen hold early, held up in midfield, ridden just over 2f out, weakened well over 1f out
CAME BACK has been going great guns in claimers on Southwell's slower surface, but the switch to Polytrack and a step back up in grade did not cause him any problems as he put in a powerful run in the final furlong to win this under a hands and heels ride.
Financial Times has been a revelation since more patient tactics were used. He was racing off a career high mark here and while he finished well enough, he never looked like getting to the winner.
They don't appear to have had the desired effect yet.
Cativo Cavallino raced wide. He should come on for this first run back.
George The Second and Angel Voices dropped away tamely after making much of the running.
