This handicap hurdle looked pretty competitive despite there only being seven runners and OH CRICK continued his progress through the ranks with a workmanlike performance, more than anything else. He has now won his last three races but his trainer played down any talk of Cheltenham by declaring him a chaser for next term. However, he may take a look at one of the handicaps at Aintree and, on this evidence, there is every chance he will get a bit further.
Or Bleu had been left clear at Newbury last time but had every chance here. His real future is over fences.
Ned Ludd is pretty well exposed but he managed to finish well clear of the others.
