SMART ENOUGH found this company much more to his liking than the Group 2 he contested at Longchamp the previous weekend and won nicely enough in the end. He was always travelling well and settled the matter quickly once going to the front. His trainer has had a rather quiet time this term due to a virus problem, but the horses seem to be running well now and this one will headeither to Milan , Hanover or Newmarket at the beginning of next month.
Dijeerr, having his first outing since May, has obviously had a problem or two, so this was not a bad effort, especially as he would have been better suited by more cut in the ground than he encountered here.
Tucker has not won for over two years and all his wins have come at Newmarket.
Jack Sullivan had the cheekpieces he wore when winning at Warwick back on, but he could not muster sufficient pace to trouble the principals.
