Analyis of the race
An ordinary handicap and the front five held no secrets for the future.
GALLEGO is on a career high mark, but that did not stop him gaining his ninth victory. He is a come from behind performer, who loves to hear his hooves rattle and the gaps came for him on this occasion.
Siena Star is a regular in this sort of company and is thoroughly exposed, but ran up to his mark.
Terminate did his best to follow up his Warwick win in an amateurs event and did little wrong.
Barry Island is much better off at the weights on turf than on the all weather, but simply prefers the sand surface.
