One Way Ticket led, ridden and headed well over 1f out, weakened inside final furlong
Tenancy took keen hold, soon mid-division, ridden and weakened well over 1f out, eased inside final furlong
Exponential with leader until ridden over 2f out, weakened well over 1f out
He was emphatically reversing recent course-and-distance placings with Bond Playboy. In that earlier race, Jilly Why had helped force the pace, and he was clearly better suited by coming late on this occasion.
Bond Playboy may not have been suited by his wide draw, which meant that he saw plenty of daylight on the outside, but he still turned in a solid effort.
Blue Bird's Dream, second at 25-1 in a 7f maiden here last month, lacked the speed to be fully competitive over this trip but is worth keeping in mind for a handicap over 7f plus.
