Emily's Place, who bounced back to form here a week ago, ran another fine race but has yet to break her duck after ten starts on the all-weather.
Abbondanza, who met all sorts of trouble on his all-weather debut here a week ago after being held up, was allowed a soft lead on this occasion and did not give up without a fight, but he may prove best when able to get a lead from a more confirmed front-runner.
