A multiple winner on the Polytrack, he added to that tally under a strong ride from his jockey. He still had plenty to do when they straightened up, but put his head down and galloped out to the line. His task may well have been helped slightly by First To Call hanging to the right after he had found himself in the lead for a long time. He was coming back at the winner when he straightened up though. This was a creditable effort, and he is worth another spin around here.
There was a gap back to the remainder who were led home by Doctor Scott who snatched fourth near the line. This was not too bad a run for his first start on the Polytrack.
**George Baker, the rider of Altilhar, reported that the gelding had no more to give.
