Osiris Way is consistent. He has been off for a while and should be sharper for this outing. His turn could come again soon. This is the first time Texas Gold has finished out of the first two in ten starts over this course and distance. While he may no longer be the force of old, he is plummeting down the weights, and has illustrated that he can still be on the premises if conditions are right for him.
Fromsong looked like he was going to be a factor turning in but his challenge was short-lived. He should be kept busy round here over the winter.
**Tom Queally, the rider of Mambo Spirit, reported that the gelding missed the break.
**Francis Norton, the rider of Holbeck Ghyll, reported that the gelding hung right-handed.
