Reclamation settled in rear, outpaced over 2f out, pushed along and plugged on steadily
Flower pulled hard, held up in midfield, outpaced over 2f out, no impression after
Dove dwelt, held up and last after 2f, nudged along over 2f out, reminder over 1f out, modest late progress
Especially with leader to halfway, soon lost place and struggling
Amandalini started slowly, held up towards rear, ridden 3f out, soon outpaced and struggling
Recast always in rear, behind over 2f out
COMEBACK QUEEN was nibbled at and she knew what was required of her, running on strongly in the closing stages to win comfortably. Her rider reported afterwards that she was still a bit green.
Heritage Coast raced prominently throughout. She had no problems with this trip at this stage of her career and should get furthernext year where she will probably be seen to better effect. Having been on her toes in the preliminaries, Edie Superstar had been reluctant to go into the stalls. She was extremely keen early on but stayed in the lead until the final 100 yards. She could be one to keep a close eye on, although she has plenty of temperament.
