Addwaitya slowly into stride, always behind
Transfer, slow to load on his debut but qucikly out, is a big gelding and took them along at a solid pace with only HARLEM SHUFFLE covering the pace with the rest fully eight lengths behind around the home bend.
Harlem Shuffle, who looked particularly fit and well for this debut, is bred to get a bit further and she saw out this trip from on the pace in taking style. She put the race to bed into the final furlong after subduing Transfer.
Duty Doctor was the only one able to get to the front two from out of the pack, picking up well in the last two furlongs, leaving his debut form over 5f well behind. He should win his maidenon this surface this winter.
Morocchius was one of the first to go after the clear leaders in the straight, but he could only edge closer.
Nothing else threatened with Tepee most disappointing. She sat third but when asked to pick up off the home bend, hung her head badly and her rider reported officially that she had hung right throughout. Thiswas not her running and something looked amiss.
Addwaitya was reported to have resented the kickback.
