Tajaaweed tracked leaders, led over 1f out, pushed clear, very readily
Hyde Lea Flyer tracked leaders, led 3f out until over 1f out, kept on, no chance with winner
Legion D´Honneur led, headed 3f out, hung left over 1f out, stayed on same pace
Spice Trade soon chasing leaders, driven over 4f out, stayed on same pace final 2f
General Tufto chased leaders, driven 4f out, weakened over 1f out
Softly Killing Me took keen hold, in touch, effort over 2f out, weakened 2f out
Good Return started slowly, in rear, kept on final 2f, never on terms
Paint The Town Red in rear, some headway on inner 4f out, never near leaders
Kalokairi chased leaders, lost place 3f out
Mount Lavinia chased leaders, lost place 3f out, soon behind
Rock Me mid-division, lost place over 3f out, soon behind
Lets Go Jo slowly away, well behind final 2f
Racing Post Trophy and Derby entry TAJAAWEED appeared easily the most interesting of the newcomers, and duly slammed his rivals by five lengths.
He was alwaystravelling well just in behind the leaders, taking up the running just over 1f out, and having only to be pushed out to win easily.
He looks like being able to take higher rank but he will have to prove himself against tougher opponents.
Hyde LeaFlyer, bidding to put a disappointing run at Sandown behind him for his new trainer, did so, and can win a nursery.
Spice Trade was up 2f following her good third to a subsequent sales race winner at Haydock in soft ground 12 days earlier but she was always struggling to get home.
General Tufto had run quite well to be sixth of 17 in a better maiden than this at Newmarket last month, and ran to about the same level of form.
Mount Lavinia hadn't fared too badly on her debut over 7f at Salisbury last month (good to firm), and this was a weaker race. She can therefore be said to have run disappointingly.
