Incorporation chased leader until after 3rd, prominent, led last, driven out
Karoo led until approaching 4th, with leader, led 3 out to last, kept on
Sahara Legend held up, headway approaching 3 out, every chance last, ridden and not quicken flat
Albarino headway to lead approaching 4th, headed 3 out, soon weakened
Seize held up, headway approaching 3 out, weakened approaching 2 out
Guymur held up, not clear run on inside approaching 4 out, hit 3 out, soon switched right and ridden, no response
Syroco behind from 3 out
This was not a great handicap chase and it went the way of INCORPORATION as he got the better of a three-way scrap. His only previous win came on similar ground, so he obviously handles it, which is more than can be said of some of his rivals. Taking all these things into account the form is unlikely to stand up when it gets quicker again.
Karoo needs a slicker surface, so this was a fair performance, but his only win came in a desperate affair which has not worked out.
Guymur struggled on this ground last time and did so again, although it is fair to say he might have been a bit closer but for being badly squeezed up on the home turn. He is likely to leavethis form behind on a sounder surface.
