Otage De Brion mostly tracked leader, led after 6th, clear 2 out, easily
Ohana prominent, chased winner and blundered 3 out, no impression from next, well beaten when mistake last
Wheelavit well in touch, close up when hit 3 out, ridden to chase leading pair before next, one pace and well beaten when mistake last
Silverhay prominent, mistake 6th, close up 3 out, faded before next
Hawk Arrow held up in touch, progress to chase leaders 3 out, no impression before next, faded
Sayago held up well in rear and raced wide, lost touch with leading group from 6th, nudged along and stayed on steadily after 3 out, do better
King´s Fable settled in midfield, lost touch and struggling soon after 6th
King´s Minstrel jumped badly, led and clear to 4th, headed and weakened after 6th
Beaufort mistakes, always in rear, lost touch after mistake 6th, soon behind
Sheikhman not always fluent, chased leaders until weakened rapidly 3 out
Cinnamon Girl well in touch until weakened after 6th
Pitful Tercah always in last trio, weakened after mistake 6th, soon tailed off
Ohana fared a lot better than on his recent Fontwell debut. Rated only 45 on the Flat, he was never far from the lead on this occasion and looks likely to do better over jumps than he did on the Flat.
The form of the second of Wheelavit's previous three starts over hurdles was perfectly respectable, as was this, but he is clearly going to need a weak novice hurdle if he is to win outside handicap company. Likewise, Silverhay once again confirmed that he has a fair amount of ability, but not enough to win an above average contest.
