Harrison´s Flyer held up in mid-division, ridden and headway on wide outside 2f out, no further progress final furlong
Colonel Cotton dwelt, held up, ridden and headway over 1f out, no impression final furlong
Currency prominent, ridden and carried wide 2f out, eased when beaten towards finish
Littledodayno dwelt and went right start, soon switched left, always behind
Endless Summer always behind
Anfield Dream held up in mid-division, ridden well over 1f out, no response, eased when beaten well inside final furlong
Avoca Dancer slowly into stride, outpaced
Law Maker sat down in stalls and unseated rider start
Divine Spirit, a frustrating sort who has won just once since 2004 and whose career record reads four wins from 63 starts, found the pace a bit too hot before running on for acreditable second, but it remains to be seen whether he can now build on this performance.
Winthorpe, a 6f Wolverhampton winner last month, ran respectably, but he has not won a race on turf since 2003.
Richard Hughes reported that Musical Script had hung right throughout, while the vet reported that Avoca Dancer had lost a shoe.
