Iron Dancer, a stablemate of the winner and more exposed than her with a mark of 48 after five unplaced runs, showed his first sign of ability, but it remains to be seen what he achieved with this second placing.
Marist Madame, third in a seller here last summer, was returning after a seven-month break and shaped with a bit of promise, staying on well from an unfavoured high draw. She should be all the sharper for this run.
Conny Nobel, who has not gone on since finishing second in a maiden here inDecember, again proved most disappointing at the business end.
