Analyis of the race
An uninspiring selling handicap chase with MAYOUN managing to follow up last week's Plumpton win. Despite this trip being much shorter than last time, he dug deeply to score and remains fairly well handicapped over fences compared with his hurdlesmark. He is obviously just as effective at this distance when conditions are testing. Star Galaxy, running from out of the handicap, was showing his first bit of worthwhile form in 14 tries and his finishing position is a negative for the form. However he should be found a bad race off this mark.
