Analyis of the race

A mixed bunch for this handicap and but once again a wide draw proved an advantage rather than the handicap it is usually seen as here, with KAYMICH PERFECTO, on the outside from the off out of his high-numbered stall, leading over 1f out and coming clear for a decisive success. He is clearly in great form, and this allayed fears that he needed a flat track to be seen to full advantage.

Gifted Flame kept on on the outside for a second place which confirmed that he is coming back to form, whileTakes Tutu did well to finish as close as he did having still been in rear approaching the home turn - he is back on a decent mark and worth keeping in mind.
