Analyis of the race

This was a real test for these inexperienced youngsters but it threw up a thoroughly likeable performance from Nicky Henderson�s newcomer AMARETTO ROSE, who raced prominently throughout, travelling strongly and putting clear daylight between her and her rivals turning for home before powering up the run-in. Although not bred to be particularly special, and not costing a great deal, she is clearly not inconvenienced by these testing conditions and looks a nice prospect.

Ring Back weakened out of contention having raced handily throughout, while Peppery Pamela plugged on creditably but finished tired and would have found this too stiff a test on debut.
