A low-key handicap hurdle in which GODS TOKEN simply ran his rivals ragged to score convincingly at a course which seems to suit him well as he won here last December. In between he got beaten around Sandown but that race may have come a shade too quickly fo r him. In this sort of mood he takes some pegging back but the handicapper will not take kindly to the ease of this success and things will not be this easy in future.

Mister Mustard, having his first run since pulling up lame last Autumn,ran well in the circumstances but had no chance with the winner. On this showing there are little races in him now that his problems seem to be behind him.

Inaro has won over this course and distance but was put in his place on this occasion and is another who wants a bit further.
