A change of stable may have rejuvenated FRONT RANK, who had been running poorly but showed a good deal more zest here, leading to the fourth, regaining the advantage three-out and coming clear to score emphatically. But a rise in the weights is on the cards and he will be lucky to find as uncompetitive a race next time.

Lagudin travelled well for a long way but found less than might have been expected in the latter stages. He had swished his tail on his previous start and is not straightforward.
