This was run at a fair gallop and gave MISS PROSS a win on her first outing over fences. She's been campaigned at longer trips over hurdles, but is clearly effective at 2m, and she handles soft ground well. She ought to come on for this.

Red Man, having only his second run over fences, ran a sound enough race, particularly as he's better on quicker ground. The same applies to Cedar Rapids, who had improved to win at Catterick last time, and confirmed that improvement off his 4lb higher mark.

Amadeus is another who prefers quicker ground, but Sands Rising usually acts well in testing conditions but was disappointing this time.
