Heir To Be ran creditably in a better race than this at Market Rasen last time, and this soft ground was never going to pose him any problems. Still fairly lightly raced over timber, there could be a similar event in him off this sort of mark.
Idiome is getting on a bit now but he retains his ability and is fairly consistent. His performance is probably a reasonable guide to the level of the form.
Fred's In The Know ran well when unfancied at Newcastle last month but failed to build on that promise, while Jaunty Times was very disappointing, being beaten before the turn into the home straight. This was not his true running.
Flying Spur, a drifter in the market beforehand, did not look that keen under pressure and is probably one to leave alone, while Money Line was never going at any stage and was eventually pulled up.
