Return Home, who was bidding for a hat trick, faced a stiffer task having gone up 9lb for his latest win and was also 1lb out of the handicap. Although he travelled well and had every chance, the winner was too good for him. Easier ground may suit him better, and though he's up in the weights, he left the impression he can win another.
Full Irish didn't show much, Napoleon was never going, and Bogus Dreams, who has had a wind operation since he last ran, will come on for the run. Dubonai was still in with every chance when he came down at the second last.
