Delena looked one of the more likely debutante winners, along with Ebony Queen, Karello Bay and Nefertari (who as a four-year-old was receiving 11lb from the other three), and it was Karello Bay who fared much the best. She finished clear of the third, Marigolds Way, who was also making her debut, and can go one better soon.
