He is still a big backward sort and, like many similar sorts, he treated some of his hurdles with scant respect. He was still far too good for these from the home bend where he collared Butler's Cabin, and when that rival ran out of stamina, he came home in splendid isolation. His temperament would seem the only obstacle to him progressing to win more races.
Sharajan travelled well in the pack but was found out for stamina in the conditions.
Best Actor ran better than the bare form as he made a strong move, sticking to the inside, when walking through the fourth last and soon weakened. Back on better ground and back down in trip, he remains interesting.
