Analyis of the race

A mixed bag for this junior bumper, but a clear-cut winner in BARTON BELLE, who was driven clear from over a furlong out. A big, rangy filly, with bags of scope, she looks a decent prospect. Ruby Joy shaped well on her debut, travelling well and only being undone by the winner's powerful finish approaching the final furlong. Dance The Mambo, another newcomer, showed signs of promise in third, one place ahead of Asrar, who did best of the quartet of runners with previous racecourse experience.
