Still on the bridle when asserting his superiority in the home straight, he won as he liked to confirm his current well-being. He is firmly on course forthe Victor Chandler Chase at Cheltenham at the end of the month and should go well off his light weight.

Che de Cour can be judged a little unlucky to have bumped into a horse like the winner. He beat the remainder of the field in clear-cut style,having travelled well through the race. So long as the handicapper does not overreact to this performance, he should soon go one better.
