Another ordinary contest for this novice handicap hurdle. RETURN HOME followed up his Warwick victory of just four days ago. He had landed a sizeable gamble there on his British debut and, although he appeared to scramble home here as well, he did not seem to be doing that much in front and could well have won with more in hand than the distance suggests. On this evidence there are more races to be won with him even when he is reassessed.

Sunset King is modest and Twist Bookie is only claiming class.

Silver City has not reproduced his win on fast ground but Sweet Oona, although still a maiden, would have finished a lot closer but for a bad error half-way down the far side, which she did well to survive.
