Timbuktu, 2lb out of the handicap, rallied from the third-last. It was his best effort and he may be suited by further.
Mr Midaz was finding things a bit tough from some way out, but was staying on when he blundered at the last, albeit not threatening to win.
Millennium Hall was handy turning for home but then left behind. He had put up a better effortlast time at Wetherby, where the ground may not have been as holding. He is a winner over a mile and five furlongs on the Flat and a longer trip may suit him over hurdles.
The Names Bond was well below his best and ran flat.
