ACCORDING TO JOHN travelled well and, although he had to he driven along from the last, was always keeping on just too well for the runner-up. It was reported that he was not entirely happy on the ground, and a lightly raced sort, there ought to be improvement to come and chasing is going to be his game.
A good run was expected from Morgan Be and he gave his supporters a good run for their money but having come to have every chance found the winner just too strong on the run-in.
Kirkside Pleasure attempted to make all and was there with every chance at the last, but then tired. It was his best run of three this term.
Regal Heights was on the heels of the first four on the far turn, but was kept on at only one pace. It was his first race for over two months and maybe he just needed with perhaps the holding ground not suiting him.
Silver Chancelor disappointed but maybe the ground was the problem.
