Seattle Robber, placed six times in 13 previous starts on sand, again had to settle for a minor spot - not helping his chances by hanging under pressure - but his turn cannot be far off, while Sarraaf, who had a bit to find at the weights, was a creditable third and is clearly in good heart at present.
