Doctor's Cave, very disappointing of late, benefited from a change of tactics as he cut out a decent pace and did not give up without a fight when Mystic Man got to him. Last season's disappointments have seen his rating drop from the 80s to a present mark of 60, and he obviously makes more appeal from his current mark.
Robert Winston reported that Camp Commander had a breathing problem.
