CHIEF EXEC had not been running badly however, and under a more patient ride than usual he picked up well when asked for his effort and then just held on.
Marko Jadeo started slowly and came from the rear of the field with a good run on the outside. He is on a decent mark these days and his new stable could wellplace him to advantage.
Smokin Joe has dropped around 10b since the start of last year and showed signs of a return to form in third.
Alfridini had been off the track four months and needs further than this. He did not run badly.
